Bed & breakfasts

Nestled in the heart of downtown historic Brockville, with train, bus, port and hwy access our B&B is your perfect getaway. Come for a relaxing few nights and great breakfasts, we do cater to food allergies. Given that we have a heated in ground pool (seasonal) you might chose a quick dip before you head out for your day or even a relaxing swim before you retire for the night. Located walking distance to restaurants, pubs, shopping, banks, attractions and our festival area but let’s not forget our amazing St Lawrence River. Come to get away!

The Transition Framework

Resilience is the ability of a system or community to withstand impacts from outside. An indicator is a good way of measuring that. Conventionally, the principal way of measuring a reducing carbon footprint is CO2 emissions. However, we firmly believe that cutting carbon while failing to build resilience is an insufficient response when you’re trying to address multiple shocks such as peak oil, climate change and the economic crisis together.
