Organization

History

Transition Brockville (TB) was organized by concerned citizens of Brockville and area in March 2007. Originally known as the Brockville Climate Action Group, we officially changed our name to Transition Brockville in October 2011.

Steering Committee

Transition Brockville is managed by a volunteer Steering Committee:

Hugh Campbell
Carol Ann Cheff
Christine Stesky

The Steering Committee meets at least once a month, and decides which projects will be undertaken, based on the relevance of the work to TB’s mandate and the availability of resources.

Volunteers

Media Releases: Christine Stesky

Budget

TB operates on a very modest budget.  Revenue is raised primarily by goodwill donations made at our monthly presentations. Expenses are incurred in the printing of TB brochures, table rentals at events, the purchase of office supplies, etc.
