Dana Street Community Garden

We have 10 raised beds, a shed, tools, a sign and a 1000 thanks for one-time funders from the Brockville Community Foundation, the City of Brockville Legacy Fund, Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots program and the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation.

On May 25, 2019, close to 20 people volunteered their morning to help build ten raised beds using wood from Paul Blakney at Brockville Home Building Centre, topsoil from Ken Miller Excavating on land with compost and water containers from the City of Brockville.

The garden’s founding members include the Food Matters Coalition, City of Brockville, Transition Brockville, St. John Bosco Catholic ECO School team, Volunteer Centre of St. Lawrence-Rideau, Leeds, Grenville & Lanark District Health Unit and Gemmell’s Garden Centre.

Be a part of Brockville’s newest community garden! The Dana St. Community Garden is looking for more gardeners for the 2020 growing season.
